Christi’s USAG gymnasts competed in Tampa on January 24th at the Suncoast Sports Festival. This event consists of many sports and athletes from many states. The competition welcomed over 300 gymnasts and Christi’s Gymnastics came out on top. We are very proud of all of our USAG girls, including the following.

Christina Cleversey – placed 3rd on vault, 2nd on beam, 2nd on bars, 3rd on floor, and 2nd all-around.

Sarah Yoon – placed 2nd on vault, 1st on bars, 1st on beam, and 1st all-around.

Christi’s AAU gymnasts competed in their first competition of the season on January 17th in Maitland, FL. The competition consisted of 30-40 competitors from all over the state. We are very proud of all of our AAU girls, including the following.

Isabella Hudson – placed 2nd on bars, 3rd on beam, 2nd on floor, and 2nd all-around.
Courtney Henf – placed 2nd on bars, 2nd on beam, 1st on floor, and 2nd all-around.
Hope McGeady – placed 3rd on beam and 3rd all-around.
Maya Waddell – placed 2nd on bars and 3rd on floor.
Taylor Tarasovic – placed 2nd on floor.

Christi's USAG Level 9 gymnasts, Maia, Alex, & Jackie, will be attending a regional training camp in Atlanta, GA October 2nd - 4th. This camp is designed for gymnasts who qualified to go to the Region 8 Regional Competition which consists of eight states: Florida, Georgia, Louisianna, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi!
