Martial Arts Youth Program at Christi's Family Fitness

About the Youth Program
Christi’s Family Fitness is proud to have as part of it's line up, Taekwondo, one of the most popular Martial Arts in the world and for good reason. Taekwondo, or TKD for short, not only teaches discipline and self defense, but molds lives and forges new beginnings.
In the youth class, children will be taught TKD, an olympic sport, with more of a foundational effect for the future. All youth students must show they understand the tenants of taekwondo to advance in belt degree. These tenant are: 1. Courtesy, 2. Integrity, 3. Perseverance, 4. Self Control, 5. Indomitable Spirit.
"From weakness we forge strength."
Classes
Youth Program classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, from 3:45 PM to 4:15 PM. Feel free to come by, observe class, and allow your child to try a few classes without obligation.
Registration and sign-up can be done at the front desk at Christi’s. Children can wear clothing suitable for a workout for the first week. If after the first week, parents wish their children to continue in the program, child’s karate uniforms can be obtained from Christi’s or directly from Instructor Robert.
Martial Arts instructor, Robert Von Der Becke, will be available to answer questions Tuesdays and Thursdays before the children’s class.
As with all of the martial arts classes, parents and visitors are allowed to visit or remain during class.
